$ 500.00. Let me recap: $ 285.00 to install 2 shutoffs and the service call. Plus an additional $ 500.00 plus sales tax to install a shower faucet. The people who needed the work performed are Retired and on Social Security. They could not afford to have this company fix their shower and the plumber was told to leave without completing the job. However, they now have 2 shutoffs 3 feet apart on the cold line and the same repeated on the hot. This is worthless and unacceptable. When confronted about the cost he claimed the new faucet alone would cost
$ 200.00. This is not true! All the parts to complete the job cost a total of $ 121.85 and This even includes the sales tax. My Advise, Be careful and get more than one estimate.
This company did work that was not necessary. The so called plumber that came out installed 2- 1/2" pex ball shutoff valves. The worse part about this scenario is the fact that this didn't fix the problem. Nor was it necessary. Then he informed the homeowner that the shower faucet needed to be replaced.
